History & Location
Originally a typical wine-growing village - named after the in the twelfth century documented Mr. von Pezilinsdorf - the place could preserve a typical rural character partly to our days.
Pötzleinsdorf was decisively influenced by Johann Freiherr von Geymüller, who in 1793 became the actual designer of Schloss und Schlosspark Pötzleinsdorf.
Through him, the area was discovered by the aristocracy as at that time still outside of Vienna located holiday resort, constantly evolved to the "insider tip" for prime locations and has now become the epitome of a quiet and well-maintained residential area.
